Description
Short stories are a great way to add to your publishing credits and practice your writing skills.
In this workshop, IFW Instructor Susan Ludwig reveals the key elements of a successful short story and what you can do to catch an editor’s—and ultimately, a reader’s—eye. Plus, she’ll share what worked, what didn’t, and what could have been even better in the winning entries from the IFW Photo Prompt Short Story Contest.
Join us December 12th at 8pm ET/5pm PT!
Susan Ludwig, Author and Instructor
Susan Ludwig holds a Master’s of Education and has been an instructor with the Institute for almost twenty years. Susan’s writing credits include teacher resource guides, English language learner books, and classroom curriculum for elementary through high school students. A former magazine editor, she assesses students’ written essays as a scoring director for the ACT and SAT exam. When she is not writing or working, she is usually found playing with her grandsons or curled up with a good book.
*The Photo Prompt Short Story contest closed earlier this year. We’ll be announcing the winner during this workshop and no more entries can be accepted at this time.
